Have fun spying on the wily birds of the Eastern Sierra. Early spring finds many species returning from wintering grounds at lower elevations, giving sharp-eyed bird enthusiasts a chance to see these often-colorful species flitting about their summertime digs in Hope Valley and other parts of Alpine County. Let local birder Jim Woods share his broad knowledge of birds and other local wildlife as you explore their natural habitats. Dress warmly and be prepared for cold weather. Guests will be asked to carpool to birding locations. For information and reservations, call Sorensen’s at (800) 423.9949.
