Starry, starry night

Join astronomers Adrienne Cool and Ron Marzke for an evening of stargazing. Catch Leo and Gemini in the spring sky, spy the rings of Saturn and craters on the Moon with our telescopes, and catch a glimpse of fleeting Mercury. Dress warmly and bring your questions as we show slides and talk about recent astronomical discoveries. No experience required: kids of all ages welcome! Gather at 8:00 p.m. for viewing with telescopes; slide show will follow. Bring your own telescope or binoculars or you may share their equipment.

Date: May 4, 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Cost:  $10.00 adults/ $5.00 kids suggested donation.  Donations will be matched by Sorensen’s to benefit school science programs in Alpine County.
