With the discovery of gold in 1848, thousands came to California with the dream of getting rich. The route they followed passes through Sorensen’s Resort, Hope Valley and over Carson Pass. Join this tour with Dianne Jennings and listen to the tales of hardship and joy, see remnants of the emigrants’ passage. All ages welcome; walking portions may be on uneven ground. Some participants may be asked to drive their own car and/or carpool with other participants. Pet’s are not allowed on this trek. Be prepared for changeable weather.
