Choose from cozy bed-and-breakfast cottages to fully outfitted log cabins and contemporary mountain homes. All are situated on the edge of Hope Valley, an incomparably scenic alpine setting ringed by aspens and criss-crossed by trout-filled rivers. All our lodgings are housekeeping cabins, with daily service available upon request. Guests have access to the resort's facilities, ranging from hammocks swinging under the trees, to a children's catch-and-release trout pond, to our excellent Country Café.

Dancehall

Living/bedroom spaces feature a wood stove (Log cabin) or a gas fireplace (Homestead cabin) with comfortable chairs and a queen bed. Second bedrooms each have a double bed. Norway House

Built originally in Norway, this replica of a 13th century building is the showcase of the property and functions as both lodging or small conference space. Hand carved façade, sod roof. Full kitchen/dining area and bathroom with shower downstairs. Upstairs is a living/sleeping space with two comfortable queen-sized couches that fold out like beds, wood- burner stove and large sun deck. An extra double-sized futon is available for floor use. Up to six people.

The classic “cabin in the woods” experience. These popular and charming log cabins are great for small families or the perfect setting for a very special honeymoon. Each has one queen bed, a wood burner stove and kitchenette (no ovens), bathroom with shower. Sleeping/reading loft has two single futons. Up to four people.

The Chapel

A charming log cabin with classic white chinking and steep-pitched roof (rebuilt from Santa's Village) makes this a unique lodging choice. The cabin also features hand-hewn, arched doorways, full kitchen and living room with gas fireplace set on a rock hearth. A bathroom with shower is downstairs. Upstairs via circular staircase is a bedroom loft with a queen bed and adjoining sun deck overlooking an Aspen-dotted hillside. Up to two people.

Saint Nick's

A whimsical rendition of Santa's House reconstructed from Santa's Village. This enchanting log cabin is a delight for two and includes a living room and a full kitchen downstairs with a wood stove, shower and oversized Jacuzzi-style tub. Sierra House

Giving guests a roomy, comfortable living space, access to this cabin is a short walk through the resort and across a log footbridge. The cabin features one upstairs loft bedroom with queen bed, one bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and a double size mattress in a stairway side loft. A full kitchen extends into a comfortable living room with a wood stove on a rock hearth. Downstairs bathroom with shower and tub. Up to six people.

A contemporary, large mountain home located at Hope Valley Resort & Campground. This comfortable home includes three spacious bedrooms and large living room with a fireplace and rock hearth. Two bedrooms have one queen bed each and the third bedroom includes two single beds and one double. Two bathrooms and well-stocked kitchen, as well as front and back outside decks. River House

Located across the river from the resort proper, River House was built in the 1940's and sits in a small village setting. Fronting the West Fork of the Carson River, this home features one bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, full kitchen and living room with wood burner stove. Upstairs has two bedrooms, one with a double and a single bed; one with a queen bed. Bathroom with shower/tub. Hot tub on deck. Up to six people.

Harmony House

Across the street from Sorensen's, the Harmony House sits adjacent to the river. Garnished with many hand-crafted amenities, this home is cozy and quaint. The master bedroom includes Queen bed, bathroom with shower and skylights to star-gaze. The downstairs includes bedroom with double bed, full kitchen, bathroom with shower/tub and living/dining area with wood burner on a granite hearth, and pull-out double-size sofa. Sleeps six. Diamond Valley House

Just 7 miles Southeast of Sorensen's, this quiet retreat is located on a private road among the pines. Home includes two bedrooms, futon, 2 bathrooms and a large open oak hardwood kitchen/dining/family area. Living room has large granite fireplace, overstuffed chairs French country antique furniture. Equipped with wood, dish TV, VCR, CD/cassette player, books, games, BBQ and sundecks. Sleeps six. Pets okay. Call for rates!

Hope Valley Resort & Campground

Hope Valley Resort is located just ¼ mile east of Sorensen’s Resort. This beautiful campground is a "sister" resort of Sorensen's and is operated under a special use permit and in cooperation with the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The campground opens the first day of fishing season – last weekend in April – to October 1, weather permitting.
